Why Agentix Labs

Production AI agent engineering, with the controls real operations require.

Agentix Labs is a Montreal-based Canadian AI engineering and automation company focused on production AI agents: systems with scoped tools, human approval points, evaluation, observability, audit trails, and practical rollback paths.

Production-first engineering

An agent is not production-ready because it completed one impressive demo. It is production-ready when its permitted actions are explicit, its outputs can be evaluated, failures are visible, exceptions have owners, and the team can recover safely.

Agentix Labs starts with the workflow and operating risk, then designs the model, tools, memory, integrations, approvals, evaluation cases, logging, and deployment pattern around that reality.

  • Scoped tool and data access
  • Human-in-the-loop approvals for consequential actions
  • Agent evaluation and acceptance criteria
  • Observability, auditability, escalation, and rollback
  • Client-owned deployment options where the architecture permits

Specialized AI agent capabilities

Agentix Labs works across three practical agent categories: retrieval agents that synthesize trusted knowledge, task agents that perform defined actions through approved systems, and autonomous agents that coordinate bounded multi-step workflows with human escalation.

  • Custom retrieval, task, autonomous, and multi-agent systems
  • OpenClaw setup, configuration, hardening, and operations
  • Claude-based agent architecture and tool use
  • Vapi voice-agent workflows
  • Botpress customer-facing agents
  • Salesforce Agentforce and Microsoft Copilot Studio workflow design

A Canadian, senior-led delivery model

Agentix Labs is based in Montreal, Quebec and serves organizations across Canada and North America. The practice is led by founder Dominic Lachance and combines agent engineering, automation, systems integration, data operations, and go-to-market execution.

That senior-led model is best suited to organizations that need a narrow, measurable workflow shipped into real operations—not a generic AI strategy deck or an ungoverned prototype.

When Agentix Labs is—and is not—the right fit

Agentix Labs is a strong fit when the workflow crosses business systems, requires company-specific rules, needs auditable actions, or has to move from pilot to operated production. A packaged copilot may be the better choice for isolated drafting, summarization, or search tasks that do not justify custom engineering. A large global integrator may be more suitable for a multi-year transformation requiring hundreds of consultants across many countries.
